Position Overview

Areas of Responsibility: Define specific, permanent areas that requires the role holder to be responsible for taking decisions, delivering results or carrying out a significant amount of activity

Person is responsible to handle commercial sales, such as such as office buildings, retail spaces, industrial facilities, and land, to customers. This role involves prospecting, negotiating deals, and maintaining relationships with customers. The person should have in-depth knowledge of the residential property real estate market and possess strong sales and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead Generation: Identify and research potential customers.
  2. Develop and execute effective sales strategies to drive commercial property sales.
  3. Set sales targets, track performance, and provide regular reports to the senior management team.
  4. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships with real estate agents, brokers, and developers.
  5. Generate leads through various channels, such as networking, cold calling, referrals, and online platforms.
  6. Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective buyers, understanding their needs and providing exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
  7. Analyse market trends and demographics to identify target markets and opportunities.
  8. Customer Consultation and Relationship Management: Meet with clients to understand their commercial real estate needs, objectives, and budget.
  9. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring regular communication and follow-up.
  10. Negotiate with customers & close the sale as per approval matrix.
  11. Market Research and Analysis: Stay updated on local and regional residential real estate market trends, property values, and regulations. Conduct market research and analysis to provide clients with accurate and insightful information. Evaluate property investment potential, including income projections, return on investment, and risk assessment.
  12. Collaborate with brokers, and other professionals to expand market reach and opportunities. 
  13. To enhance channel broker network with new empanelment.

Desired Skillset

Job Requirements:  State threshold proficiency/education, qualifications, training and experience necessary to enable and perform the job fully and effectively. (This might not necessarily be the same as the current job holder)
Academic Qualification Graduate or Post Graduate
Relevant Experience Proven experience as a commercial Real Estate or similar sales role with minimum 6-12 years of experience.
Technical Skills
  • In-depth knowledge of the commercial real estate market, including property types, zoning regulations, and market trends.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of closing deals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Operating Network: Provide the key working relationships/routine contacts the job holder needs to have INSIDE and OUTSIDE the organization to accomplish job and the reason for these interactions
